He was just dying to dance with me and finally ask. Here is one of those phrases in the English language that is perplexing, because I translate it literally. I would not want someone to die over me. However, there is a big difference when someone is dying of something and dying for something. I know you are dying to know more about this.
What is the meaning of death? Is it that the moment we are born we are guaranteed to die eventually. The problem humans have is that we do not know when we will die, but we know it will happen.
Keep death away as much as possible. So, should it not be in the best interest and live each day to the fullest and concentrate on the happiest things?
Of course, it does. Fear helps protect us. It makes us alert to danger and prepares us to deal with it. Feeling afraid is very natural and helpful in some situations. Fear can be like a warning, a signal that cautions us to be careful.
If I should go tomorrow It would never be goodbye, For I have left my heart with you, So don’t you ever cry. The love that’s deep within me, Shall reach you from the stars, You’ll feel it from the heavens, And it will heal the scars.
May all my friends and those who do not like me always remember that life is short and who knows how long death lasts. Make every second count until the kiss of death touches your lips.

And just because you have a compatible Windows device doesn’t mean you’ll be able to run Windows 11 starting today. The launch will be “phased and measured,” with new eligible devices getting the upgrade first and the rest getting offered the free upgrade sometime between October and mid-2022, depending on your hardware, age of device and other factors. You’ll get a notification from Windows Update letting you know when Windows 11 is available to you, or you can check manually (here’s more on how to download Windows 11 when the time comes and how to try the preview version).

When it unveiled Windows 11 in June, Microsoft had said the OS would begin rolling out around the holiday season and continue into 2022. But several subsequent hints suggested that the release date would actually be in October: During the reveal event, a Microsoft Teams message popped up on the demo screen that said “excited to turn it up to 11… can’t wait for October!” And many press images for Windows 11 include a date of Oct. 20 in the taskbar, The Verge noted. Plus, Walmart’s website lists a “free Upgrade to Windows October 2021 when available” on certain laptops. Microsoft confirmed the Oct. 5 release date on its blog at the end of August.

Thais Akerman’s “Kitchen” post for her blog appeals just because it is the opposite of all the usual kitchens that are almost always too neat. This one reminds me of the summer kitchen my aunt and uncle had down by their two-acre garden. The counters were scavenged and had no doors. Instead, my aunt made a bright, colorful curtain uncannily similar to this one. When they harvested, everything was cleaned, peeled, and canned down in the summer kitchen. The compost piles were down by the garden as was the root cellar so everything was to hand. And of course, my aunt and uncle ‘borrowed’ me during the harvest. All the remaining items are listed in her blog credits, but my mind is fixated on the counters.
In “Yakitama”, Thais again finds a unique piece that adds humor and character to her style, in fashion as well as decor. For this one, it’s the eggcellent bag that caught my eye. I love the setting and her stack of cookies, but the central piece for me is the egg bag.

I like Thais Akerman’s blog though its name Maria Bunita is a mystery. I am guessing an early name. At the top is a pretty watercolor spray of flowers that gives readers an immediate sense of her fashion aesthetic. Across the top are links to her social media and on the right sidebar, there is a small bio, a search window, archives, and recent posts. Tags fill the footer. Her posts consist of one picture and complete credits. You can read each post from the home page without clicking through. Everything is well-arranged and easy to find.
There is one caveat, though: When checking the SLurl for Parfait, I arrived at an empty spot and fell to earth. The link in the story is correct, though. This reminds me of my suggestion that bloggers include creator names just in case stores move or change their names. The creator’s name will always lead us to the store even if they change their store name from Alpha to Zed.

Microsoft has officially announced that Windows 11 is arriving on October 5th. The long-awaited update to Windows 10 will be available as a free update for certain existing systems, although several products are on the way that are tailor-made for the new OS.
While many users will gain instant access on October 5th, Microsoft will be rolling out the Windows 11 update in waves. Depending on your device, you might be waiting weeks – or months – before the update is pushed to your laptop. In general, expect to see the OS rolled out to the latest products before coming to anything older and less mainstream.
“Following the tremendous learning’s from Windows 10, we want to make sure we’re providing you with the best possible experience,” Aaron Woodman, general manager of Windows marketing at Microsoft, said. “We expect all eligible devices to be offered the free upgrade to Windows 11 by mid-2022.”

Microsoft has released detailed hardware requirements for Windows 11 ahead of its launch later this year. If you don’t meet the specs, don’t worry – Windows 10 will continue to receive support until October 14th, 2025.

If all the above specs look like gibberish, just know that most PCs less than four years old should be compatible with Windows 11. Microsoft is also planning to launch a PC Health Check app in the near future, which will analyze your system and let you know if you’re eligible for Windows 11.

How to Upgrade to Windows 11 for Free
Upgrading from Windows 10 to Windows 11 will follow the same format as previous system updates. Specifically, it’ll use the Windows Update software preinstalled on all Microsoft systems to make the process entirely painless. Here’s how to upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 for free:
Ensure you’re running the latest version of Windows 10.
Verify your PC is compatible with Windows 11 hardware requirements.
Ensure your PC is connected to the internet.
When the Windows 11 update is ready for your system, you’ll receive a notification from the Windows Update software.

What’s New With Windows 11?
Windows 11 isn’t an incremental update to Windows 10 – it’s a full-blown re-imagining. From a new UI to Android app integration, here’s why you should be excited about the free upgrade.
Reworked Interface: Beyond a basic refresh (which includes lighter colors and cleaner lines), the Start menu has been moved from the bottom left corner to the middle of the screen. This week we immerse ourselves in the surreal digital art of Mistero Hifeng at Cammino e Vivo Capovolto.
Upon landing, the region feels like an art gallery crossed with a movie set: the type of thing that would cost millions of dollars in the physical world but can be created by anybody in Second Life.
Mistero’s style blends the abstract with symbolic imagery seamlessly. The use of light and water are key. Slow moving raindrops and a moving floor of water that looks like glimmering mercury… There are also several clocks strewn about haphazardly, perhaps an homage to Dali, one of the great figures of Surrealist art.
Abstract humanoid sculptures can be found throughout the space, often embracing each other. While they may seem plain from far away, closer inspection reveals that they express a wide range of emotions. The amount of detail given offers the hint of a narrative but the rest is a mystery for guests to put together. What is the purpose of the train tracks that lead nowhere? Mistero is indeed mysterious: he does not comment on the purpose of his installations. He does not offer any help to interpret it, which makes it even more powerful!
